Exceptional crowd . . . great costumes . . . fantastic weather . . . best ever!!

On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, and especially the clients at the Beth-El Center, I would like to thank all who participated in the Trick or Trot 5K Run/Walk that was held on Saturday, October 28th in Milford. Funds raised will assist us in to continue the progress that has been made throughout the region and the state in ending chronic homelessness and to continue to provide needed outreach and food services as in the greater Milford area.

Our very deepest appreciation to the major event sponsors and organizers: the law firm of Harlow, Adams & Friedman, P.C. and Sikorsky Financial Credit Union, with particular thanks to the event committee, comprised of Dana Friedman, Joe Kubic, Jim Winkel, John Massih, Heidi Allen, Kim Balocca, Emily Degnan, Carmen Tortora, Maria Bravo and Maria Tomasetti-they all collectively did another outstanding job this year in planning and organizing the event. We deeply appreciate all of the volunteers who helped with registration, monitoring the course, and any other tasks that needed to be done-couldn't have done it without you! The Jonathan Law Key Club's presence this year was a great example of community partnerships; we are so thankful for your help!

Marty Schaivone, M.S. Running Productions, always offers professional guidance and organizes a run/walk that provides opportunities for all who wish to participate, while arranging for another beautiful route, insuring public safety and offering an enjoyable experience for all.

We also appreciate the generosity of, Heidi Voight, NBC CT, who was the Emcee for the event for her time and creative talents in costuming . . . Captain Kidd was a big hit!!
